With an extra beat in her steps, Anais made her way to the lake with a bright smile that had showed her upper teeth. It had been a while since she had heard from her father but a letter that had arrived to her earlier made her feel happier. Her relationship with him was a lot better than her mother's. Anais almost dreaded every letter that arrived from her mother. They usually nagged about what she was wearing to school, if she was talking to the right people or if she made that her appearance didn't look like a rat's nest.

She lightly shrugged to herself, her mother's constant nagging voice in the back of the girl's young head disappear the moment she decided to ignore it.

Reaching the edge of the lake, she grabbed a flat rock and tried her best to make it skip on top of it. After a multiple failed attempts, none of the rocks ever reaching over one skip, she huffed and sat far enough from the edge of the Lake so her clothes wouldn't become wet.

Jasmine stalked through the pathway leading to the Lake, her arms crossed and her head down. She was thinking actually and didn't think that she would bump into anything or anyone. Mostly the road here was clear. A small pout settled on her face as she thought, 'She is so unfair! Not inviting me to explore the castle with her.'. Yes,Yasmine was a bit miffed that her twin- her partner in crime, the ying to her yang, the girl that she practically did everything together- hadn't invited her to explore this damn castle and ultimately giving her the chance of getting lost.

'Maybe if I had found her sooner...' she thought again before shaking her head, "No! This is definitely her fault" she said outloud not realizing she was near the girl from Orbis Terrarum and that she was at the lake now.
