Merri took Alenna's response to mean that she wanted to join her but she didn't know the way. Taking the girl by the hand she replied, "That's okay. I think the headmaster's office is on the first floor," she then hurried them both out of the room of requirements and towards the staircase.

After losing her way several time she stop at the first floor and looked around. Obviously not that way, that's the Great Hall, and that's the library. "This door!" She dropped Alenna's hand and headed over to the door, paused for a few seconds then knocked.

Alenna followed Merri all around the Castle, until the two stopped in front of the door to the headmaster's office. She frowned as a minute passed after Merri knocked. "Wonder what's taking him so long," she muttered.

"Maybe he's sleeping!" Merri knocked once more then waited for a few minutes, "Hello? Headmaster? Are you in there?" She knocked a little harder this time and the door slowly pushed open.

She glanced to Alenna as if asking, should we go in? Then shrugged and stepped into the room anyways.

Leonardo was behind them. He was taking a look around at all the dorms. "May I help you two?" he asked. He didn't mean to sound rude, but someone was coming to visit him. And he didn't want them to. An adult of course.

Merri jumped and turned around to see the headmaster standing behind them. "Oh headmaster! Hello." She smiled and scratched her head, trying to remember why she had come down there in the first place. Oh right the cabinet. "We wanted to ask you about the vanishing cabinet we found in the room of requirements."

"What about it?" he asked. He was wondering why they would care about what the Vanishing Cabinet does. It's kind of self-explanatory.. Vanishes things.

Merri looked over at Alenna then back to the headmaster. "Well, from what Alenna said the cabinet has a pair and a person would be able to transport objects between the two cabinets." She hesitated, this was probably common sense and wasn't really a question at all. "What if a person wanted to go between places?"

"Same thing," Leonardo said. "Is there something going on that I don't know about?" Leonardo asked, and then eyeballed the two of them curiously.

Merri grinned and scratched the back of her head. I want to go into the vanishing cabinet and see where it ends up! She thought this, but wasn't sure if she should voice it out loud. "Well I was just wondering if it would be dangerous to put a person in the cabinet. Could something go wrong?"

"You don't want to go into the cabinet. This is your warning." he said. "You don't want to know where it leads to." he stated.

Merri opened her mouth to retort the statement but quickly decided against questioning his orders. I suppose the headmaster does know best. "Okay. Thanks for answering my questions."She sighed, I guess that adventure won't be happening.

"Anytime." Leonardo said. A lot of things were happening. Leonardo had heard about Issac Lawinsky and the Alumni having a face-off. Plus his family was in town, and then just to top that, his old friends (or enemies) from the Academy were coming to visit! All of these things happening and he can't keep up with it all.

"Now if you'll excuse me," he said. "I have a lot of thinking to do." he stated.

And then looking at Merri, he remembered that the Dueling Clubs will be starting soon. He sighed as the two ladies moved out of the way and he walked into his office, then closed and locked the door.
