Spencer invited Chase to the mountains. He got a cabin for them. With two separate rooms of course. Spencer didn't want to make Chase feel uncomfortable at all. He flashed up to the cabin that he reserved for a few days. Chase said that he wanted to get to know Spencer better, and since they were on break, it is the perfect time to do so.

After packing a small bag, Chase nervously ran his fingers through his hair and checked to make sure he wasn't going to arrive too early. He was so used to rushing through his relationships in the past, he didn't want to screw up something this soon. Closing his eyes he took a deep breath then pictured the mountain location. He felt his body being tugged forward in a whirlwind one moment, and the next he was standing a few feet away from a small cabin.

Spencer looked out the window of the cabin, and saw Chase standing there. He walked out of the house, and up to Chase. "Hey," he said.

Chase was examining the view when heard footsteps approaching, "Spencer, hey." He grinned and turned, looking back across the mountains. "You have a great view here."

"I try my best," Spencer said and smiled. "Let's head inside." he said. Then he started walking towards the door. Then opened it, and held it open for Chase to walk inside first.

Chase took a few steps into the cabin then set his bag down. He tilted his head and smirked at Spencer, "So is this how you seduce all the guys you meet?" He grinned and pointed towards the back of the cabin, "Don't suppose I'm going to find a candle light dinner and flowers am I?" He chuckled and sat down on the edge of a chair.

Spencer smiled laughing, but very seriously said, "You're my first," .. He didn't want to admit it but it was true. Chase was the only guy that actually ever liked Spencer enough to even have a conversation with him. "And actually, I thought that we'd go hiking, dinner is later." he smiled again and walked to the closet to get some gear. He then held it up, showing Chase, and walked over to him, and handed it to him.

Chase smiled, feeling a little relieved. It wasn't that he didn't want to spend time with Spencer, of course he did. He just felt more at ease doing something to keep his mind occupied. He had a tendency to over think situations. "Sounds great." He quickly changed his shoes for hiking boots and shouldered the backpack then headed back outside. "Which way boy scout?" He nudge the guy in the shoulder and grinned.

Spencer laughed a little. "The only way we can go.." he said, "up."

Chase chuckled in agreement then began to walk up the mountain, "So Spence, can you tell me about yourself? Your likes or dislikes?"

"Nature," he said.. "I like breathing fresh air.. uh, meeting new people, making new friends.. partying.."

Chase listened intently, "I can see why you like nature so much after being out here," he grinned and raised an eyebrow, "Where do you party around here?"

"Sometimes someone may throw a party in their cabin," Spencer said.

Chase nodded, he was not really all that much of a party person, but it could be fun around here. He slipped his hand into Spencer's and lightly squeezed it, "Thanks for this. Back at the academy I felt like no one really wanted to get to know me." He grinned then blushed and released the guy's hand.

Spencer grabbed Chase and hugged and embraced him tightly. "Thank you," he said.

Chase returned the hug, his heart beating wildly as his thoughts drifted to ideas other than embracing, "What did I do?"

"You're just always there," Spencer said, and walked closer. "You're my hero." he said, putting an emphasis on the word 'hero'.

Chase blushed and looked away, "I just needed to be around someone really. I'm not a hero, just afraid of being alone."

"Chase," Spencer said. He then kissed him on his forehead, and took both of Chase's hands into his. "I didn't say you were 'a hero'.. I said you were 'my hero'. Because you are. You may not see it, but I haven't felt this way about anyone.. ever. ever. ever. You light up my world.. You bring a smile onto my face.."

Chase closed his eyes, listening to those words. He had never been around a guy like this before. "I think I feel the same," he stammered in response as he turned back towards Spencer and leaned in close, his mouth inches from the other guys. "This isn't moving too fast is it?" He didn't wait for a reply, as his mouth crashed against the other males in a rough kiss.

Spencer let Chase's tounge slip through his lips if he wanted it to, and he put his hand on his face as they held this long kiss.

Chase broke away from their kiss and gently pushed Spencer away. His hands clenching at his sides into fist, "I shouldn't have done that. I didn't mean to rush into this." He closed his eyes, feeling completely frustrated. "I should go."

"It's fine.." Spencer said, with his head down.

Chase hesitated. This was what he wanted, to be out here alone with a sweet guy, so why did he keep running away. "Really sorry," he softly called out then walked off.
