Leonardo stood up in front of the students at the great hall, and began to speak..

"As you may have heard, Kyan Klien of the Incaendefacio First Years has gone missing." he said, and paused...

"I suspect that the Shadows have returned.. in spite of this, I want all of you to be careful.. And if you see anything suspicious, please notify me or your dormitory's Prefectarian.. Thank you.." he completed his sentence, and stepped down from the podium..


Out Of Character: This is to thicken the plot a little.. Reply with what you think, and what you're going to do..

"What's a shadow?" Lili asked, being out of the loop. She didn't even know this Klien guy.

Ryan decided to be intelligent for everyone..

"Shadow : A human being that belongs to the dark side of the magical realm, and potentially wants to help their leader take over. Leader undetermined."

"Ryan is correct." Leonardo said, lowering his head.

"Oohhh..." Lili said, feeling dumb.

Taylor paused her reading, putting her bookmark inside and shut it as the Headmaster began to talk. Her eyes filled with worry, that poor first year! She let out a light breath looking over at the rest of her dorm. She figured she would talk to the animals and figure out if they say anything odd and maybe use her wolf form to track his scent....it could work and it was worth a try. What was the worst thing that could happen? She looked over at the Habitus second year who she thought was named Liliana speak up asking about the shadow and looked back at the headmaster.

"I need a search team." he said.

"Whoever wants to do it, go to my office."

The young first year, Harper, was biting at her nails and staring off into space when the headmaster began to speak. She then stopped daydreaming, but continued biting at her nails with unrelenting fervor. Being a first year student, she hardly knew anyone, including the kid who was missing. She did pick up on the mention of shadows though. Hadn't her brother or father mentioned them at some point? It was one of them at least, but she couldn't remember what she had overheard. And was that fig pudding being served? How long had it been since she'd had that? At least a month, which was far too long by her book. It reminded her of the holidays back home when she was a little kid... (because she was so much older and wiser now that she was in school!)

Harper dug into the desert coarse and lost track of everything else going on until a call for a search came up. She paused with a mouthful of food still in her mouth and tried to say something to the third year sitting nearby. Nothing got past the food besides a piece of fig though, so she would have to wait on that thought until later.

Taylor bit her bottom lip slightly looking down at her book, she was going to be a part of the search team...after-all she had a wolf to help out. She had a a few first years in her dorm to keep safe and that was how she was going to do it, by joining the search party. For now, she stayed calm for the sake of the scared younger years all around her in her dorm and the other dorms.

Leonardo nodded.

Esme had been writing some notes for a class when the headmaster began to talk, but when he said that someone was missing. It was a terrible thing when people went missing especially some one so little.

When the Headmaster talked about a search party Esme could not say no it was part of being a prefectarian so she would make sure to report to the Headmasters office.

Alexis had been sitting quietly when she heard the news. This Klien person sounded familiar, maybe she had come across the person somewhere.

Arianna busted through the doors, running. "What's happened!?" She was off campus for a few days, and didn't get to hear this announcement until today.

"Is Ben in the Hospital Wing?" she asked, waiting for someone to answer. She ran to the HW, to see if Ben was there.
