Devin walked into the Great Hall, and it was filled with laughter and fun. He was ready for his 7th year, and nothing was going to stop him this year. He wanted to make the best grades that he could so he can graduate. The attire was in the middle, between formal, and daily wear. So Devin had one a pair of nice jeans, a white-t, and a red suit-like coat (like the avatar )

Joey was on the other side of the room when Devin walked in. He gave him a slight head nod, and walked over to him. "D!" he stated.

Hailey walked in with her spring themed dress of colors, and smiled as she walked over to Devin and Joey. "Hey guys!" she said enthusiastically. She hadn't seen them in weeks, so she was super excited to see what they were up to..

Justin entered the marvelous room and smelled the fresh air "Ah," he said lightly. He walked over to Hailey, Joey, and Devin.

Skyler walked into the great hall in a pair of jeans, royal purple v-neck t-shirt, and matching converse on her feet. She went for the more casual look if she could help it. Skyler wasn't the type to dress to impress or any such nonsense. She rather preferred to be herself. And that meant dressing how she liked, and not like some Barbie doll.

Glancing around, she didn't see many people she knew, which did not ease the back to school nerves she seemed to have acquired since arriving back at the academy. Grabbing a drink, Skyler sighed in a lets-get-this-over-with sort of way and approached the nearest group of students, recognizing only of them really, and said, "I realize this may be completely awkward, but in an attempt to save myself from standing alone until someone I actual know shows up, which might take a while considering I don't really know many people to begin with, I figured I'd just come introduce myself in the meantime. Which, might I add now that said idea is now in action, is no less awkward."

Skyler's supposed introduction was laughable. Her clearly humorous introduction, or explanation, as one might call it it, was made only that much more funny by the fact that she actually forgot to introduce herself. Which she realized mere moments after she had finished speaking, and to which she lightly smacked herself on the forehead with the palm of her hand in a 'duh' gesture, and rolled her blue eyes. Flashing a wide grin at them all, she added, "Right. I'm Skyler. But everyone usually calls me Sky."

Devin smiled as Skyler walked over. They were friends, you could say.

"Well, you know me already. But this is Hailey, Justin, and Joey." he said, pointing to each of them. Even though Skyler was a year below them, she acted way older than her age. Way more mature than most Sixth Years that he had met before, this was a good sign. But next year, she hopefully would find more friends, which Devin knew she would.

Hailey smiled. She knew Skyler was in some of her classes from the previous year, but she never really talked to her. And they were in different dormitories.. Which brought Hailey to a conclusion. ".. So I guess you have met Ian? He's my cousin.. If he's causing any trouble let me know.." she stated with a light sigh. "I'm in Incaendefacio by the way, and Joey and Justin are in Liquidum." she said forcing a light smile onto her face.

Justin didn't break the silence.. He just waited for Skyler to say something.

Merrick had made his way down from Liquidum House's dormitories. Starting year 7 would be a very interesting experience to say the very least. He knew what the dress code and decided to wear an outfit that he thought would be fitting for the evening. He had made his way into the Great Hall and saw there were a handful of his fellow students had already arrived. He walked over to the refreshments table where he poured himself a goblet of pumpkin juice.

He then looked around the room, saw a group of people were talking together. Merrick never felt the best around groups and he saw some of his fellow Liquidum housemates but he didn't really want to talk to those two. Lets just say his encounters with them had gone pretty badly to say the very least. He went to a table over in the corner and sipped on his drink. He hadn't really wanted to come but he knew he had to make an appearance. After all, he was the Head of Liquidum, he had to attend.

Skyler offered a genuine thankful smile to Devin, and supplied a nod of her head and a grin to go with it to each individual he introduced. While she recognized most of them from a few classes, she couldn't help but feel that she had just walked into a circle of older students. Mainly because she had. Well she was already there. "It's a pleasure to meet you all, I'm sure." Skyler stated honestly.

Taking a drink from her cup when Hailey started talking, Skyler choked on the liquid at the mention of Ian. "Oh yes. You could say I've had the distinct pleasure of meeting your cousin." She replied with a smirk, thinking of the last occasion she had seen the younger boy. "Funny kid he is. A little rough around the edges, but not too much to handle." Skyler offered a sheepish grin and rubbed the back of her neck in a slightly nervous gesture as she added, "Weeeeell....I'd be lying if I said he wasn't causing trouble, but I would have to be completely honest in that I've sort of egged it on a little."

What could she say? The boy had potential. And hopefully rumors of her potions fiasco hasn't gotten too far. "Ah." She acknowledged that they were in another house. Obviously. Wait a second... "I know a girl who's in that house I think. Merri." She didn't know where this conversation would go, if anywhere, but at least she were making conversation. It was a start. No matter how small.

Hailey nodded and sighed lightly. "Okay," she said and forced a smile upon her face. When Skyler asked about Merri, Hailey was glad that she changed the subject.. "Merri is in Incaendefacio," she said with a real smile.

This was her seven year, there in Magical Academy... Seven years.. Manon couldn't imagine that she had spent all that time, there. The academy was a house for her and the thought of leaving it one day was creepy. She was still have one year, though. Manon was determinated to do her best and success ! Anything could happen that year and she wanted to make it the best ever. She was wearing a very confortable casual blue dress and her hair was up in a ponytail.

Manon walked in the Great Hall. Some students were enjoying thermselves. She saw a young man with a blue shirt. She beated his name was Merrick but she didn't remember her last name. They shared the same course, last year. She joined him with a smile on her face and said with her sweet accent : " Hi Merrick. How are you ? Did you enjoy your holidays ? "

Merrick didn't see Manon come up to the table that he was sitting at but
there she was. He didn't know her all that well, she had been in some
of Merrick's classes last year they were both 7th years. She asked how
Merrick's holidays were. There was an honest answer and there was the
answer that Merrick was going to give. "It was an
interesting holiday but I'm glad to be back. How about you, how was your
holiday, are you looking forward to the new year?" Merrick
asked, trying to divert any attention that may be drifting onto himself.

Ian had heard one word, party, and soon he was in mastermind mode. He just knew that it would be the perfect time to pull off a few pranks. So without a thought towards how he should look, his hair for one was sticking up strangely, he grabbed a old t-shirt and headed for the great hall. He wasn't one of those guys self occupied with his looks, and it wasn't like he was showing up to impress anyone.

The room was crowded with older students, and it made him reluctant to stay, well almost reluctant. He squared his shoulders and casually, as best as he could, strolled around the groups of students and towards a far wall. He did not blend in very well, he looked down at his shirt and noticed it was two-tones from the potion accident from a few days ago.

"Where to begin," he quietly mumbled while leaning against the wall. He scanned the crowd for likely targets. Noticing his dear cousin, Hailey he started to come up with a vaguely amusing plan. Though it would be more pleasant if a few students his own age showed up. Still, the show must go on, he thought with a huge smirk crossing his face.

Leonardo walked in from a back door, and got some punch, nodded to Merrick and the others, and walked to a table on the side of the room and watched the room as students rolled in, including new ones.

Merri quietly peeked her head around the main doors of the Great Hall. There were a lot of older students present, though she herself wasn't a first year anymore. She sheepishly pulled at the bottom of her plain white dress, hoping that she wasn't over dressed, and tried her best to flatten the mass of curls around her face.

She took another look at the crowd of students slowly forming then headed for a table set up against the side of the room. Her stomach growled cheerfully in agreement, so she set about finding something yummy to eat. "Headmaster!" Merri greeted him with a slight wave then helped herself to a chocolate chip cookie.

Alexis slipped into the Great Hall in a sleeveless denim dress, a black crop jacket, and dark blue sneakers. Her hair was tied up in a messy bun. She sighed and walked towards the foods table and grabbed a cinnamon roll. She started nibbling on it as she scanned the room, looking for any familiar faces. She was in her Sixth year already, but she didn't have much friends. So here she was, all alone, leaning on the wall with only a cinnamon roll.

Leonardo waved at Merri and Alexis as they passed by. He was happy to see returning students at the Academy.

Luca entered the Great Hall, and nodded at the few students he had met before. There was one in particular who seemed overly-nice to him.. Devin Stone. He seemed like he had a thing for him. But Luca didn't worry about it much. He had on a v-neck, which was a little tight and showed his muscles and such perfectly. He had on bootcut jeans, with some boots to go with it, not cowboy boots, but boots. Not rainboots, but boots . They were tan and somewhat a dark brown color, with red and yellow shoe strings.

Ivy smiled as she slipped into the Great Hall, her eyes searching for two particular things. Pudding and Meringues. School food was nice, but party food was much better. She ran a hand self consciously over her pale pink and cream dress, wishing that she hadn't outgrown her old one. It was a nice ombre blue, and wasn't pink. "Merri!" Ivy waved, flashing a grin towards her friend as she made her way over to the spread of food.

The girl gave the Headmaster a wave before picking up a plate, ready to fill it with desserts and such.

Jaxon waltzed into the great hall as he did everywhere. As if he owned the place. Self assured and confident, he was dressed in dark jeans and a button up, long sleeve blue shirt. He spotted a few people he knew, and some he didn't. He settled for flashing the room a roguish grin and, upon spotting Ivy, he slipped his hands into his pockets and sauntered over to the food table.

He sidled up next to her and leaned toward her, speaking quietly. "Stuffing your face already I see. But don't worry. Nothing's more attractive than a beautiful girl with a healthy appetite." He teased lightly, eyes dancing in laughter.

The six perfect little chocolate meringues circled a small bowl of wonderful pudding, and she was preparing to dig in when a voice sounded from her side. It was a deja-vu. The last party she ever attended would be the Winter Ball, and Ivy had also been hiding somewhere near the food table, with a plate of desserts. That was when Demetri had startled her, and stolen her meringues too! Ivy turned eagerly- expecting to see a familiar pair of laughing blue eyes. Instead, found herself staring into a completely different pair. "Oh," Ivy murmured, masking her disappointment behind a friendly smile. "I thought you were someone else."

Ivy chided herself mentally- she knew the Urquhart siblings were away on some exchange program for the greater part of the term, Demetri included, yet she still found herself expecting to see either Demetri, Yas or Jas in any of her classes or at mealtimes. She missed them that badly.

Jaxon were a bit surprised by Ivy's reaction, but hid it well behind a grin. He thought he saw a flash of some emotion on her face, but before he could pin point what it was she had replaced it with a smile. Hands still in his pockets, the boy shrugged in a slightly awkward apologetic way. "Sorry to disappoint, but its just me." He responded easily enough, and grabbed his own plate to fill with food. Shoveling some loaded mashed potatoes onto his plate, Jaxon spoke through the stick of celery in his mouth. "Just out of curiosity, who were you expecting?" Jaxon didn't want to keep the girl from her friends or anything. She just happened to be the only person he recognized in the room so far.

"Yeah," Ivy mumbled, feeling rather awkward. "It's just you." In order to avoid seeming more awkward than she already felt, she grabbed a meringue off her plate and shoved it into her mouth, so it had something to do. Wrong move. The next thing she knew, he had asked a question and looked at her expectantly, obviously waiting for an answer. The girl held up one finger, indicating for him to wait before swallowing. "Um, Demetri. He's.." my boyfriend, "A boy in my year. I'm really good friends with his sisters, Jasmine and Yasmine. Do you know them?" For some reason, Ivy felt weird. She couldn't seem to pinpoint how exactly she felt- But it wasn't a common feeling. It wasn't a good weird, or a bad weird either. It was just.. weird. "Are you here with someone?" She queried, changing the topic. Surely a guy like him would have a date to this kind of thing, or a girlfriend.

"Nice. way to make me feel special there." He responded sarcastically, rolling his brown eyes, but in good humor as he busied himself with adding fried chicken to his plate while he waited for the brunette to finish chewing and answer his question. He listened to her reply while eyeing the various deserts, some looking rather appealing, and others not so appealing in his eyes. Turning away from a carrot cake with a slightly disgusted look on his face. Who would ruin a perfectly good cake by adding carrot to it? He couldn't fathom it. But the look of disgust was gone and swiftly replaced with a thoughtful one as he mentally repeated the names, trying to remember meeting anyone that sounded familiar. After a moment he said, "Nope. Can't say any of those names ring a bell."

Finishing the celery stick in his mouth, Jaxon swallowed, blinking, as if he suddenly remembered something, and looked at Ivy questioningly. "So this Demetri guy...you like him then?" Jaxon for the life of him could not see why it would matter anyways, but for some reason he found it did. He quickly decided to chalk it up to curiosity and leave it at that. When she asked if he were here with someone, he was torn, because he wasn't sure whether she were asking because she honestly wanted to know, or if because he were annoying her. But seeing as annoying her was his goal in coming over in the first place... Jaxon gave her a mock appalled look. "Of course not! This gentleman has been reserved specially for you." He replied charmingly, complete with his most charming smile. But his eyes gave him away, dancing in amusement.

Chuckling at his own joke, Jaxon shook his head in amusement. "Kidding. But seriously, no I didn't. I didn't really think about it, to be honest. And I never understood that notion either. I mean, why ask someone to go to something that they'll obviously be going to anyway?" He questioned musingly, not really expecting an answer. Suddenly he grinned like a Cheshire. "But you could always introduce me to this Jasmine and Yasmine and I could always ask one of them to the next school bash. Or both of them." He added on, smirking and wagging his eyebrows at her.
