Rinoa was walking along the lake. She was out the academy to have some fresh air. She was also free at that time, nothing to do.

She saw the lake and stood near it. She sit down besides the water just enough not to get her clothes wet. She diped and swayed her hands in the water. She was enjoying this little pleasure.

Ivy was weird, that much was certain. I mean, who practices their magic in the middle of a forest? But then again, she would have plenty of targets for one particular spell that just so happened to be her favourite.G

"Arania Exume!" Ivy declared, pointing her finger at yet another creepy crawly that had decided to stalk her. A jet of brilliant light shot forward and there was one less spider in the world today. Okay, some people might have a fit over how many times she had used this spell, but what they didn't know wouldn't kill them, right?

There was a bit of a clearing ahead and Ivy quickened her pace, wanting to get to a place where the chances of a spider falling on her was lower. As finally cleared the line of trees and stood, gaping at the sight in front of her. She didn't know there was a lake on campus. However, she wasn't the only one there. In the distance, near the shores of the lake sat a girl, a few years older than her.

Who was she? A student? A shadow? Some random person? Deciding to be cautious, Ivy withdrew her wand and held it casually in front of her as she walked towards the figure.

Rinoa was so drawn into the little pleasure, swaying her hands in the cold water.

She did not even noticed if someone came. She was just there sitting peacefully as she felt the cold breeze of the outside wind on her cheeks.

Little things like this makes her mind very calm. She could inhale all the fresh wind if she can, but she cannot, so she just appreciated what she just can do at that time.

As Ivy neared the girl, she was able to observe her more closely. She didn't seem to be like a Shadow, only another student. Still, you never knew which students were trustworthy or not. The girl's eyes narrowed and she cleared her throat politely, once she was close enough.

Rinoa now has sensed a presence near her. She felt the need to look at the direction on where she felt someone's presence.

She's startled to see another student out in the the woods. Rinoa stood up, took out her handkerchief and wiped her hands dry. "Hi, are you lost?" Rinoa asked since she seems like she's from a lower year, while leaning her head a little to the side.

She felt herself relax slightly when the girl turned around. She did seem to be somewhat familiar. Perhaps she had seen her around the Academy? "Er, not quite." She shuffled on the spot slightly, discretely slipping her wand back into her pocket. "I just.. came out here to practice, though it seems I won't be doing much of that now."

Rinoa looked at her clueless. "Practice?" Rinoa repeated what the girl said but with the questioning tone. "Practice what?" Rinoa continued.

"Ah! Rinoa, Habitus, 4th year. And you are?" Rinoa wouldn't pass the chance to make new friends, extending her right hand toward the young student asking for a handshake.
