It was a deserted island, that much she could tell. Brushing sand and dirt from her uniform, Ivy turned and inspected the great rift that their plane had created in the sand when it crashed. The metal tube that had carried them halfway across the ocean had been destroyed by the enemies fire and carried away by the strong waves. There had been a storm the night they crashed- A terrible one. And today, the day after, Ivy could see just how destructive nature could be. Broken trunks lay scattered across the once idyllic beach, and carcasses of varied marine life had been washed up ashore.

Wrinkling her nose at the rotten stench of decomposing fishes, Ivy turned and headed into the forest, finding solace from the sun's harsh rays among the branches and leaves. Somewhere along the wag, she had gotten separated from their group- They all had. Ivy could still see signs of them around, which were rather comforting yet not. A discarded sweater, a dropped hanky and such."Hello?" Ivy called out, her voice hoarse from lack of water and disuse. "Anybody out there?"
